So I’m busier than normal right now! And you won’t find me complaining about that.
HOWEVER. This week I’ve had two people ask to come to the barn between 5-7pm on FRIDAY NIGHT. Um. Hello, but I hope I’m done with everything by then. I hope I’m on my way home by 5:30pm.
Monday through Thursday, I’m not usually home until 9pm at the earliest since I give lessons on Monday and Wednesday and go barrel races on Tuesday and Thursday . Is it so bad of me to want to be done by a reasonable hour on a Friday? I have a life to live too folks. I have a house to clean, and guess what? I’m going to work half a day on Saturday too? What is with you people? Do you care that I’ve already put in a 40 hour week before Friday even gets here? Do you care that I’m going to work another 8 or 10 hours on Friday, and then another 4-10 on Saturday? And I worked last Sunday too. When does the horse trainer get a weekend?
I can only imagine how bad it would be if I lived at the barn!
