Fall Jewelry Designs

Before we get to the new jewelry I’ve made, some of you know today as Columbus Day. But here on the Reservation, it’s known as National American Indian Day. I didn’t know this day even existed until I moved here. And some of you probably didn’t either, so I thought I’d share.

Now let’s see what lovely goodies I have in store for you! Some of these pieces were barely photographed before they were sold. Those that aren’t sold will be placed in my jewelry shop. If you wish to buy them, you can do so from there. Shipping is included in the prices!

First we’ve got what I like to call, Rustic Elegance. It’s a gold, glass bead, swarovski crystal and Tiger Jasper mixture. This set isn’t actually new, and as such it’s on a major sale. I want it out of inventory. $35 for the set!

Next, it’s Fall in necklace form. This piece is sold. And if you’re nice to me and enter my contest, I might be inclined to make you a similar one. It wouldn’t be the same- no way, because all these pieces are originals.

This piece is also sold, but again, I have more skulls, so if you were to be nice to me, I would make you a custom piece.

Back in Black, is made with swarovski crystals and black onyx beads. It is stunning and there’s a handmade pair of sterling silver drop earrings to match. It’s ready for your next night on the town. I promise! $40

Choke me Colorful, is a beautiful choker-type piece with big, bulky colored stones of turquoise, orange, pink, purple and green. It was actually made to be 18 inches, but due to the size of the stones, it’s wears shorter than that. It’s so cute as a choker though that it would look awesome under a white or denim collared shirt at a big barrel race and if it were too long and you wish to wear it to run barrels it’d bruise your neck due to the weight. $40 If you were interested in this being made longer I would remake it for an additional $5.

Southwest Red is a longer double-strand piece with swarovski crystals, brown turquoise, green turquoise and red jasper. It’s really a rustic, pretty piece and it’s an older piece as well which means it’s on sale now for $35!

New Jewelry Designs

I mentioned the other day that while I was busy making jewelry for three of Zach’s great nieces, that I put the beads I bought in Vegas to good use, right?  And since it’s snowing outside today, and I’m putting off, biking, packing, and posting about what I plan to work on in 2010, I figured this was as good a time as any to share the pictures (and prices of the new pieces). If you buy them from me here, you’ll get a discount, because if I post them on Etsy, I’ll have to pay for the listing.  I still have about 4 pieces from last year that no one has fallen in love with yet. I’m considering doing a give-away for my three year blogging anniversary. I digress, I know.  So without further ado- a few of the new pieces for 2010.

These first four pieces can be purchased for $28.50 each (if you want two, $50 for both). Shipping and handling will be $3.00 for the first item, and $1.50 more for the second item. You may have to wait on shipping though, since it’s supposed to blizzard here again, and I have no idea when I’ll be making it into town. I believe all the pieces are 18″ long. But I’ll double check for you if you’re worried about it.

Then there is the purple. I really fell in love with purple all over again. The purple turquoise beads combined with pink quartz and pink swarovski crystals, just make me happy. Do they make you happy too?

The following two pieces combine stones and glass beads in green and turquoise. That combo makes for very springy, happy, bright pieces. These will be sold for $25 each or two for $47.50. Shipping is the same.

Then there is this one. I’m not even sure what to call it.

I figured I’d save one of my three favorite pieces for last- (one of my other favorites isn’t finished yet; and another I’ve decided to re-string). This piece is just gorgeous. It has matching earrings that are one piece so as to make them more comfortable. They’re made on a solid, sterling silver, 3 inch headpin. So, feast your eyes on this piece; it reminds me of the Caribbean Ocean.

This piece is priced at $45. Shipping is the same. I hope to have more pieces finished before too long; though I’m scheduled to depart for Texas on Monday so they may wait until later in the month. I don’t know yet if Mother Nature is going to let me leave when I want. I tell you what she did manage to do today though. She took all the wind out of my sails when it came to packing. Yup. She did. Flatlined me.

If you’re interested in any of the jewelry leave me a comment with your email address or email me at easyjet95 @ gmail

Have a good rest of the day!

New Jewelry Pieces

I’ve gone crazy. I made so many pieces last night and finished some earrings that I’d started but didn’t have French Hooks so I could finish. I got those this week too. I’ll post the snow pictures today too. I should be outside with my horses, as it’s pretty, but I feel like I need to get this done since the tonight we have a wake and tomorrow a funeral.

This first necklace set is my absolute favorite! And apparently it was Lacee’s too. I gave her a sneak peek and she bought both necklaces and the bracelet, but she passed on the earrings. If you’d like a similar set, please let me know. Thanks for the purchase, girl. Check out the green turquoise, red coral, and yellow round swarovski crystals. Throw in a rubbed bronze bucking horse concho and it’s just perfection!

The second set is really gorgeous in its own right too. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and Lacee said she liked it as well. I’m hoping the rest of you do too. I love the tiger striped, square Jasper stones. The varying colors of swarovski crystal and gold glass beads are really pretty too. You can purchase this necklace at my etsy store.

I’ve ordered more green turquoise and I can’t wait to get it. I absolutely love it. I don’t know if I’ll order more gold beads or not, I guess that depends on the feedback I get on the piece above.

More Jewelry

Here are the latest pieces I’ve created. I’m becoming addicted. And I’m now selling to the public. I’m not doing custom orders just yet, as I’d like to sell some of the pieces that I’ve already made. You can purchase them through me via paypal here or at my Etsy Site.

I Love these pieces. That’s all I have to say about that!

Rambling…and More Jewelry

Can you believe that since we moved we’ve been sans TV? I mean. NO. TV. Not even rabbit ears. We are sort of in the middle of nowhere. We were schedule to have our TV installed by DirecTV today. And they call Zach at 9 and say they want to reschedule. Um. NO. Two hours and countless phone calls later (including a call to Dish to see when they could install our TV) the DirecTV installer calls and tells us he’s on his way. But he was 2 hours away. DirecTV is stupid. And. They. Have. The. Worst. Customer. Service. EVER. I’ve digressed.

Tonight was the first night that we have had TV in a month and I spent my evening making jewelry. I took pictures of course. I also built a beaded cross on my last necklace building night, so I’ll share photos of that with you tonight too. And as most of you know, tomorrow is Friday- Spin Cycle Day. However, I’m going to a barrel race tomorrow in Rapid City- and I’ve had to ask Jenn over at Sprite’s Keeper for an extension, because I have something really killer planned. I. Mean. Awesome. Or at least I think it is. Let’s just say I did something this week I’ve never done before. That’s your hint.

Enjoy the jewelry. Eventually I’ll start selling this stuff for real. But in the meantime if you want to buy one of the pieces shown here tonight, please let me know! The cross is for sale. The first $30 to reach me takes it.

My New Project

Tonight I began my new project. I’m teaching myself to make jewelry. I made my first pair of earings and a super cool necklace that I’m really in love with. I think it looks great with the killer bracelet that Jill gave me for Christmas. I’m so excited about it! It’s green and white turquoise with a big quartz stone in the center. I want to make some earrings to match this necklace, but I do not have a long enough earring headpins to make it work. I’ll show you more of my creations as I, well, create them.
