Have you ever confronted someone, whom you know is doing something, and they deny it 10 ways to Sunday?
I’m getting really tired of it, personally. It happens in my life almost weekly, if not more often than that, sometimes.
I have eyes.
I have ears.
I can see.
I can hear.
I know that they do not do what they told me they do; and I’m thinking to myself, how can you just look at me and lie? Do you not know that you are lying? In your mind do you really believe that you do what you say you’re doing? What ever happened to following the Golden Rule:
Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
So if this person wouldn’t want me to do to them what they’re doing to me, why deny it? Why not just admit it, apologize and tell me you’ll try to do better?
At some point, I’ll be totally fed up with these confrontations and they won’t like the end result.
What's on your mind?
