Hi friends! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared anything here. It’s not that I don’t have plenty to say, but that I’ve been writing other places. I’m writing for the American Quarter Horse Association, for Ag Week and still plugging away for Cavvy Savvy as time permits.
The year seems to have flown by, and my goals have changed. I am spending more time with my horses and on my photography and paying writing jobs, than I am writing for my personal pleasure. That said, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite posts from the summer!
For those that don’t know, our family matriarch recently passed. She’s so missed. More than she could ever imagine, I’m sure. I did my best to pay tribute to her.
I’m also learning to let go of perfection…
And I don’t care if you think the birds fuss at one another or not — they’re happy little creatures that make my mornings better — so we should learn from them!
I’ve talked about how to get out of the ruts we may be in — and I’m constantly schooling myself in this.
Ranching differs from region to region, as does the tack we use…
As a woman, I believe we can AND should empower each other, and that should be the first thing we do for each other. That should be where we start — build each other up.
I will try my best to do better and keep everyone more up to date on the goings on here. Thanks for stopping by!
Until next time, happy trails!
Love your journaling. 😀
