Refrigiwear is no joke, folks. Is it the warmest jacket I’ve ever put on? Absolutely. (use code JENN20 for 20% off everything through the new year)!
This post is sponsored by Refrigiwear. All opinions are 100 % honest and completely my own. Frankly you’re all going to thank me (and them) once you don the gear – no lie friends!
It’s no secret that people look to me to help them stay warm in the colder winter months.
I’ve worn, and own different brands of jackets and coats for various temperatures. And as much as I enjoy layering, I’d be lying if I said that layering when you go to ride your horses in the winter is handy. It’s not even a little bit handy. It’s hard to move your arms and be a functional rider if you’re looking like the kid in “A Christmas Story”!
When I got this adorable coat from Refrigiwear I couldn’t wait to try it on! I’ve worn it in some pretty nasty wind, with only a tee-shirt on underneath and was perfectly content! That, my friends, is winning!
Now, the down and dirty:
I wouldn’t want to go fence in this jacket simply because I have awesome fencing skills and am always getting bloody when I fix fence. Read: barbwire and this fabric wouldn’t mix…
But to ride all winter in the barn, outside, or at a barrel race — SIGN ME UP!
The coat is water-resistant, has three inside pockets, a removable hood and is rated to 10 degrees. In our riding barn, the temperature rarely gets below 20 degrees so I’d say, I’m pretty good to go, wouldn’t you?
Skull caps are among my favorite head attire for colder months, and this one is no exception. It doesn’t make my head itch, and is warm.
Bottom line: I’ll be wearing this coat and cap for the foreseeable future! Refrigiwear Life is mine and I’m stoked.
