Avie and I got to spend our weekend in Huron, SD for a cancer benefit run. We had a lot of fun. The first run we were 5 holes out of the money and the second run, I bobbled the second. But we had fun, and I feel like I’m getting to know him better with every run. Kelsey, The Cowboy’s gorgeous and super talented daughter, came to hang out for the weekend and I brought her horse with me so she could get in some equine therapy. Now that Avie is at his fighting fitness, the saddle I’ve been using on him doesn’t fit. Luckily, I’ve another one at the house that does. I’m thinking that might be part of what’s keeping our second barrel crappy (In addition to the fact that he’s not an easy horse to ride)!

Run #2
I got my photo from this event already. My friend, Kim, the photographer was fast! Pardon my two chins. Please.
Happy Trails!
