Sweet Sixteen

June 15, 2007 by Shauna 2 Comments

I got invited to a sweet sixteen party for one of the kids I coach. I went. It was too sweet that she asked me to come and I know it meant a lot to her for me to go. The best part about going is that it made me laugh at how trival we were at that age. Just watching the kids was fun, and thinking back on how we thought we had the world by the tail and knew what it was to be in love, and to have fun, and to be *big*.

I’m glad I made it through those years, and they were trying, but I’d never want to go back.

Spread the Love!

I agree. Do you remember that party at the Timberview apartments in the clubhouse? Whose party was that? We were younger, though, more like 14.

It seems like the older we get, the less we know, right?

I want to say it was for Kevin someone or other, and I just remember singing and being mad at Rob Donnelly. LOL!
