The Family

I don’t want anyone confused when they read about my life, so I thought I’d introduce the cast of characters.

I moved to The DX Ranch in North Central South Dakota in June of 2008, fell in love with the handsome cowboy that recruited me to work in his paradise and that is all she wrote, as they say. I’d previously lived in Texas, where I rode barrel horses for a living.

He has two beautiful kids, a grown-up daughter, Kelsey and a son, Ty, who is  headed to college in the near future. These are two of the most amazing individuals you’ll ever meet.

Zach is the oldest boy of 7 children — 3 girls and then 4 boys. In order of their appearance on this earth:

Colette
Lisa (deceased)
Lorelei
Zach
Guthrie
Wayne
Bud

These days the family living full-time on the ranch consists of Zach (when he’s not out-of-town touring the world for his job), Bud and Kelsey.

And our whole operation wouldn’t be possible without Burt, a first cousin of the DX crew.

I would be remiss if I didn’t introduce my Texas Family. I’m the oldest of three kids: Two girls and a boy. A boy named Zach. It gets confusing at holidays.

L-R: Zach, Jenn, Jenn’s mom, Lyn, Jenn’s Dad, Vince, Jenn’s kid brother, Zach, His wife, Amy, and kids Tatum, and Raleigh, Jenn’s Brother in law,  Asa, And Jenn’s sister, Megan.

Thanks for joining me in this journey!
