Half-way Through!

August 20, 2007 by Shauna 6 Comments

I am halfway through my first full month of training horses and not getting a salaried paycheck. I like it!

This month started out slow, but it has picked up significantly. I was in my closet last night, this might be random, so just bear with me, looking at my business suits.

What am I going to do with them? Keep them? Sell them on Ebay? I don’t anticipate going back to work where I’ll need one, and I don’t know that I need to keep 6 (or however many there are) for special occasions. I’m being a big time sinner (thanks for reminding me, mom) and not going to church. And I don’t know if I’d wear one to church anyway. I must say though, I do miss having a place to wear my sexy shoes, which also leads me to wonder, do I sell those too? I mean I’ve got a bunch of designer shoes in there. Just sitting. Collecting dust. I do love my shoes, but I’m thinking I should start collecting designer boots or something more practical for the life I am working now.

I need to make more room in my closet for more jeans, and long sleeved shirts. And puffy down vests and fleece for the winter when it’s cold. Oh, and I think I want a new cowboy hat, something old school with ribbon around the brim, and, and, and, some chinks for this winter when it’s cold too. I have no idea why I think I need a pair, other than that they’re kinda cool, and I bet they’d keep my legs warmer!

When this month ends, I’ll update on how I closed it out and how things are going!

Spread the Love!

    Shauna-

I don’t know how many pairs of shoes I have in a size 6. Most of them are a size 5 or 5 1/2.

And I love them. I don’t know that I can part with them.
