I’m Getting Torn Up Lately

March 23, 2008 by Shauna 4 Comments

If this keeps up, I’ll be crippled by at 45!

I’ve currently got a broken finger, a busted knee, and my back hurts, all the time. I’m not intending to sound like I’m complaining, but these horses I’ve been around lately are roughing me up!! Star first, then Kody (right before the ski trip) and then one that broke my finger and one that not once, but twice in the same day this week crashed me into cedar trees and then yesterday the round-pen fence. I’d rather have crashed into the tree. Cedars are at least fluffy.

Spread the Love!

    Actually, Ve it is.

Trouble is I don’t ride enough colts to really think *slower* on them, and often that is what they need. He and I will come to an understanding, though. And it’ll be his idea. I just need to slow down to the right, and not let him get bothered to start with; so it’s more my fault than his.
