Inspired by Fall

October 2, 2012 by ~The South Dakota Cowgirl~ 3 Comments

Thought I’d take a moment to share some of my newest creations. Bet you all thought I forgot how to make jewelry, eh? Well I didn’t. I’ve just been busy doing other stuff around the ranch!

You can see all these in their entirety on my Facebook Page, but I thought I’d share them here too so they can easily be pinned. We all love to Pin stuff, right?

These were inspired by fall, for sure. There’s turquoise, and greenish-tan-blue Jasper. Brown Jasper and wood beads as well as a pretty white “fake” turquoise stone in a gorgeous cut.

Really, what’s not to love about these pieces?

Inspired by Fall. From L-R:

Jasper’s In Season: $55
Square this Jasper: $40
Lean Mean Turquoise: $35

If you’re interested in purchasing one of these beauties, just send me an email via my contact form and I’ll get a PayPal invoice sent out!

Today is also the last day to enter the contest, so hurry, go now!

Happy trails!

Spread the Love!

About ~The South Dakota Cowgirl~

Jenn Zeller is the creative mind and boss lady behind The South Dakota Cowgirl. She is an aspiring horsewoman, photographer, brilliant social media strategist and lover of all things western.

After a brief career in the investment world to support her horse habit (and satisfy her mother, who told her she had to have a “real” job after graduating college), she finally took the leap and stepped away from a regular income; trading the business suit once and for all for cowgirl boots, a hat, and jeans. She has not looked back.

When Jenn first moved to The DX Ranch on the South Dakota plains, she never imagined she’d find herself behind a camera lens capturing an authentic perspective of ranching, and sharing it with others. Jenn has always been called to artistry, and uses music, writing, images, home improvement, and her first true love of horses to express her ranching passion.

Horses are the constant thread and much of her work centers around using her unique style of writing to share her horsemanship journey with others in publications such as CavvySavvy, the AQHA Ranching Blog, the West River Eagle, the family ranch website, and her own website.

Using photography to illustrate her stories has created other opportunities -- Jenn’s brand “The South Dakota Cowgirl” has grown to the level of social media “Influencer”. This notoriety has led to work with Duluth Trading Company, Budweiser, Wyoming Tourism, Vice, Circle Z Ranch and Art of the Cowgirl, to name a few. She also serves as a brand ambassador for Woodchuck USA, Arenus Equine Health, Triple Crown Feed and Just Strong fitness apparel. Her photography has been featured by Instagram, Apple, TIME Magazine, The Huffington Post, and Oprah Magazine. Jenn’s work has been published internationally, has been seen in several books and has graced the covers of several magazines.

Jenn became a social media influencer by accident when she started to explore Instagram as a way to share her life on the ranch with folks that don’t get to experience it. It’s grown into an incredible platform that she uses to empower women, create an environment for self improvement and share life on the ranch.

When she’s not working, she loves to drink coffee, play with her naughty border collie named Copper, start ranch colts, and run about the country chasing cans. Her mother still thinks she doesn’t have a “real” job.

How do I ask “how do I get rid of that side bar thingy down the left side of your beautiful post? I love your images and that thing keeps popping out and wanting me to share as I’m scrolling, sorry but very (like right now I can’t even see the words I am typing underneath this thing.)
Love the cattle drive photos tho…. they look like a painting to me.

I got rid of it for you. I will have to go back to the drawing board as to how to share the love from here. It was annoying. Thanks so much for your honesty!

no problem. I really questioned whether or not to say anything. but part of the reason I read your posts and buy your calendar is because of your beautiful photography and the views you give us of South Dakota (I’ve never been that way yet). And that thing really just ruined that for me. I like to share your posts whenever I have the time, but I always enjoy looking at them. I’m so glad you didn’t take it wrong. I know I would want to know. Maybe it could fit at the bottom each post.???
peace n abundance and keep taking photos
