Marketing & Communications Services

While she may be a modern cowgirl, Jenn is quite the Renaissance woman. Whether she’s on the ranch or on the road, she also balances other ventures and responsibilities. Whether it’s marketing and communications services, joining brands as a influencer partner and or providing high quality editorial, Jenn’s got something up her sleeve to help clients and partners hit their goals.

Available Services:

Branding, Social Media Strategy and Content Creation

If you’re looking to bring authenticity to your marketing and advertising campaigns, you and Jenn should have a chat. Ask what she can do to help your product or company gain the exposure it deserves. Whether you’re looking for an influencer marketing partner to help boost your brand, a marketing consultant to help shape your messaging, or a content creator with an eye for art, Jenn is here for you.

As an influencer marketing resource and social media personality, The South Dakota Cowgirl’s core audience is:

  • Mostly female (roughly 68%)
  • Between the ages of 18 and 44
  • Typically rural but featuring suburban and urban audiences
  • Interested:
    • Western lifestyle
    • Farming & ranching
    • Rural living
    • Horses & rodeo
    • Music (especially country/ singer-songwriter)
  • Reached from Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
    • Jenn’s Instagram account alone carries a reach of 24,400+ followers

If you’re looking to hire her for content creation her original images, passion for social media, will certainly shine through in the ideas she can share with each company. Every company is different. Every need is different. Ultimately, Social Media is about creating an engaged audience, an audience that feels empowered, accepted and feels invested in the community the brand is building.  Social Media should further cement, in the consumer’s mind, what need the company is already fulfilling, help the consumer solve problems and/or make them feel good.

Each partnership is different and each brand needs something unique. Jenn would love to discuss how The South Dakota Cowgirl brand can help yours, or how Jenn’s experience can lend itself to shaping your online presence. Jenn’s diversified client list speaks for itself; with good partnership and collaboration, we can tackle just about anything.  As a result of this experience, she has has partnered and worked with the following brands (just to name a few):

Copywriting and Journalism

Jenn never set out to be a writer, but life has a funny way of placing opportunities in your lap. The trick is taking them.

Currently Jenn writes a monthly column for the AQHA Ranch Horse Blog. You can also catch her thoughts on horse training over at Cavvy Savvy. On a fairly irregular basis, she also writes for the local newspaper. Most of Jenn’s work is editorial and therefore opinion based. It typically comes from a place unique to her life experiences, knowledge and perspective.

Jenn is also able to provide more hard informational content, especially when it’s within the realms she knows best: ranching, horses, the cowgirl life and current legislation as it applies to the ELD mandate and Commercial Driver’s Licensing.

In addition to providing written content for digital and print outlets, Jenn is also equipped to provide the imagery to match; whether it’s Western lifestyle, horse training and animal husbandry, ranching or beyond, she’s perfectly situated to pair my unique experiences and insights put to word with eye-catching photography to match. If you’d like a new perspective featured on your blog, in your magazine or newspaper, or in some other outlet, reach out to Jenn.  You can fill out the contact form to get the ball rolling!
