New Jewelry Designs

January 4, 2010 by ~The South Dakota Cowgirl~ 4 Comments

I mentioned the other day that while I was busy making jewelry for three of Zach’s great nieces, that I put the beads I bought in Vegas to good use, right?  And since it’s snowing outside today, and I’m putting off, biking, packing, and posting about what I plan to work on in 2010, I figured this was as good a time as any to share the pictures (and prices of the new pieces). If you buy them from me here, you’ll get a discount, because if I post them on Etsy, I’ll have to pay for the listing.  I still have about 4 pieces from last year that no one has fallen in love with yet. I’m considering doing a give-away for my three year blogging anniversary. I digress, I know.  So without further ado- a few of the new pieces for 2010.

These first four pieces can be purchased for $28.50 each (if you want two, $50 for both). Shipping and handling will be $3.00 for the first item, and $1.50 more for the second item. You may have to wait on shipping though, since it’s supposed to blizzard here again, and I have no idea when I’ll be making it into town. I believe all the pieces are 18″ long. But I’ll double check for you if you’re worried about it.

Individually we have Orange Peace:

Then there is the purple. I really fell in love with purple all over again. The purple turquoise beads combined with pink quartz and pink swarovski crystals, just make me happy. Do they make you happy too?

The following two pieces combine stones and glass beads in green and turquoise. That combo makes for very springy, happy, bright pieces. These will be sold for $25 each or two for $47.50. Shipping is the same.

Then there is this one. I’m not even sure what to call it.

I figured I’d save one of my three favorite pieces for last- (one of my other favorites isn’t finished yet; and another I’ve decided to re-string). This piece is just gorgeous. It has matching earrings that are one piece so as to make them more comfortable. They’re made on a solid, sterling silver, 3 inch headpin. So, feast your eyes on this piece; it reminds me of the Caribbean Ocean.

This piece is priced at $45. Shipping is the same. I hope to have more pieces finished before too long; though I’m scheduled to depart for Texas on Monday so they may wait until later in the month. I don’t know yet if Mother Nature is going to let me leave when I want. I tell you what she did manage to do today though. She took all the wind out of my sails when it came to packing. Yup. She did. Flatlined me.

If you’re interested in any of the jewelry leave me a comment with your email address or email me at easyjet95 @ gmail

Have a good rest of the day!

About ~The South Dakota Cowgirl~

Jenn Zeller is the creative mind and boss lady behind The South Dakota Cowgirl. She is an aspiring horsewoman, photographer, brilliant social media strategist and lover of all things western.

After a brief career in the investment world to support her horse habit (and satisfy her mother, who told her she had to have a “real” job after graduating college), she finally took the leap and stepped away from a regular income; trading the business suit once and for all for cowgirl boots, a hat, and jeans. She has not looked back.

When Jenn first moved to The DX Ranch on the South Dakota plains, she never imagined she’d find herself behind a camera lens capturing an authentic perspective of ranching, and sharing it with others. Jenn has always been called to artistry, and uses music, writing, images, home improvement, and her first true love of horses to express her ranching passion.

Horses are the constant thread and much of her work centers around using her unique style of writing to share her horsemanship journey with others in publications such as CavvySavvy, the AQHA Ranching Blog, the West River Eagle, the family ranch website, and her own website.

Using photography to illustrate her stories has created other opportunities -- Jenn’s brand “The South Dakota Cowgirl” has grown to the level of social media “Influencer”. This notoriety has led to work with Duluth Trading Company, Budweiser, Wyoming Tourism, Vice, Circle Z Ranch and Art of the Cowgirl, to name a few. She also serves as a brand ambassador for Woodchuck USA, Arenus Equine Health, Triple Crown Feed and Just Strong fitness apparel. Her photography has been featured by Instagram, Apple, TIME Magazine, The Huffington Post, and Oprah Magazine. Jenn’s work has been published internationally, has been seen in several books and has graced the covers of several magazines.

Jenn became a social media influencer by accident when she started to explore Instagram as a way to share her life on the ranch with folks that don’t get to experience it. It’s grown into an incredible platform that she uses to empower women, create an environment for self improvement and share life on the ranch.

When she’s not working, she loves to drink coffee, play with her naughty border collie named Copper, start ranch colts, and run about the country chasing cans. Her mother still thinks she doesn’t have a “real” job.

Very pretty. I’m sure they’ll be snatched up before you know it. My niece is into peace signs right now.
