Yes. It was sunny today! Finally! I woke up to see a cloudless, blue sky! It was quite refreshing and I found myself in a fantastic mood! It’s amazing what the sun will do for you.
I stayed at the house long enough this morning to make my husband breakfast, watch some of the webcast on the barrel race and then headed out to the barn. I was itching to get at it and spend some nice time (since it’s not freezing cold and cloudy yuck) with my girls (pictured above).
I worked Jewel for the first time in over 8 days. She worked GREAT. The time off actually did her good. While she was fresh, her attention span had grown and what I’d been working on teaching her prior to her time off, had time to *soak* in. I should get to get on her for the first time on Wednesday.
Then I played pretty pony and groomed my Shuttle and Sonora and took their photos. After all, they are girls and they look great, so they can’t be too upset about being photographed, right?
