Things I Should Work On

July 31, 2008 by Shauna 3 Comments

For me.

1. I need to not take things personally. Just because someone says they hate (x) and I may be (x) doesn’t mean they hate me; right?

2. Sometimes curiosity kills the cat; so I’m going to assume it might hurt me. Hence I need to learn to curb that side of me. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman, and I NEED details.

3. I need to lose 8lbs.

4. Lately, I’ve been crying at the drop of a hat (damn you hormones) and I’d like to not be so easily brought to tears.

5. Not be worried about what people say/think/or tell others about me.

All that said, however, I’m not unhappy.

How could I be?

It’s 70 degrees outside. I get to take a pretty gray mare to the barrel race tonight. I have good horses to ride everyday, and I’m in some of God’s most beautiful country. There is food on the table and money to pay bills. I’d say, I’m doing pretty good but I do need to work on some things.

Spread the Love!

depends what “X” is. If X is pretty important to me or about me, I might be offended. Who hates X (and what is X)?

You’re fine. You are just adjusting to your new environment. It will all settle soon. Hang in there.
