Whew! I’m Home!

April 28, 2009 by Shauna 4 Comments

After a really long, not so wonderful week at the BBR finals, I’m finally back in SD.

I have now uploaded some videos though I’m not sure I’m sharing them all. But for starters we’ll share Gump’s best run from the Weekend of the WinMore (where Shuttle won me $600) at Alvarado, TX and we’ll show you Gump’s run from Barn 8 at the BBR Finals in OKC.

Win More Run #2

BBR Finals, Barn 8

I have a lot to work on still, and quite a ways to go with him, but this month was very beneficial in helping me re-assess where both my horses are. I fully appreciate all the support of those in my life and those that read the blog. I’d like to reiterate to a couple people that I understand visualization. When I roped calves and tied goats in goats in high school and college, 9 times out of 10, I’d picture how I wanted a run to go and go make it happen and I won a lot of money doing that. I may not be that proficient at it with running barrels, but I make an attempt.

Hi-I found you through Pony Girl’s blog…and hey, we’re neighbors. Well, what passes for neighbors in SD.;)

Maybe I’ll see you at some barrel races or rodeos this summer.:)

I guess I missed the memo. I thought you were coming back (TX) this week and returning to SD Friday.
    Boo.
I have a flyer here that I was going to give you. I still get stuff sent to me about barrel races- on a mailing list from high school or ProYouth I suppose. Now that I think about it I am sure you get a lot of them 🙂
This was one for a ‘race for the car’

    miss you!
