Art of the Cowgirl 2020, was one of the BEST experiences of my life.
3000 miles.
10 days.
3 horses.
2 cowgirls.
A lot of fun.
We at great Mexican food. We didn’t get much sleep. And no one complained.
We saw tons of cactus. And gosh dang those saguaros are gorgeous. Totally got to cross seeing them off my bucket list.
Zach and I were fortunate to be asked to colt to start under saddle. So we were able to bring one of our home-raised fillies to the show. She did us proud. And I am so honored that Tammy asked us to be part of her event. Paisley made me look like I know what I’m doing! Starting Paisley was one of the best experiences of my life. I cannot thank the Art of the Cowgirl team enough for giving me the chance to do it.
I got the chance to ride with the incredible Lee Smith. She’s such a kind soul.
Then at the end of three days, we sold Miss Paisley -to the one and only Terryn, of Faith Family and Beef.
Art of the Cowgirl was good to me. It filled my soul with positivity, confidence and I met a whole lotta great folks!
My heart is full.
PS. If you’d like to come visit the ranch this summer, we’re hosting our second annual horsemanship workshop in July!
Happy Trails and thanks for reading!
