Blah Blah

Today started off all crazy.

First, I overslept. I was supposed to go to church with my friend T, but I didn’t make it because it was like 10:15 by the time I finally rolled out of bed.

I had to go feed 6 head of horses, clean stalls, feed dogs, check cats, and eat something as well as shower. I still haven’t hit the shower, and have one more stall to clean but I was out of coffee, so I had to come inside to get some!

Second, Grandma is NO better. The doctor said her kidneys are now not even filtering liquid out of her body. He has given her a dose of Lasix which could jump-start her kidneys. We will know by this afternoon if it works. If it does not, then that is the end of this story. Grandma is 93, in case any of you are wondering.

Third, it’s a muddy, nasty mess outside, and I doubt it will be dry enough for lessons in the morning. Ugh.

Today I must clean the house and probably wash some laundry and roll some leg wraps that have been sitting in the basket for a week. I will probably start a new book too. I’m thinking “Hot Six” by Janet Evanovich sounds good. My friend let me borrow her copy.

Maybe it will be less crazy this afternoon. I’m not holding my breath. Life is just this way sometimes.

Spread the Love!

Hope the Lasix helps your Grandma and you take care. It’s horrible when someone you love isn’t well, my Nan is 80 and I’ve already convinced myself that she’s going to live forever.

Hot Six is fabulous! Have you read the others? The fifth (can’t remember what it’s called, I think it may be High Five but I’ve had a couple of drinks so can’t be certain) ends on a cliffhanger so the beginning of Hot Six may seem a bit random if you haven’t.

P.S. How bad is it that 10.15 is still getting up early for me?!

Girl! 10:15 is getting up early? I can’t do that; I’m up by 7:30 am normally with no alarm clock needed because I have a barn full of horses to feed!

Hot Six is GREAT so far! I’m enjoying it to be sure! I will be buying all of her books, though I have 2 more that my friend loaned me!
