Buck Brannaman training on turning and backing

April 19, 2009 by admin 4 Comments

After yesterday’s barrel race, I’ve realized I’ve got to have my horses thinking more about me, and less about what is going on around them. I will be working on doing the above today with them while warming them up. I know that Shuttle is as handy as the above horse, it’s just me that’s not quite as handy as the masterful, Buck Brannaman.

Love him. I watched his clinic for two days last fall and I was so inspired. He makes it look so easy! Very talented horseman.

Amazing how well he can train a horse. I wish I had that talent.

Heck, right now, I just wish I had a horse! I wonder my Home Owner’s Association would say about a horse in the back yard.

Even Zach thought it was all a bunch of BS when he first saw his methods. But unless you try it you don’t they work.
