Dirty, Dirty Dogs!

October 22, 2009 by Shauna 5 Comments

I am a dirty dog. And I like it.

Today, I ran in the grass. And the sloppy, gumbo mud. While it rained.

And I had soooo much fun!

Running in the mud makes me itchy!

I didn’t run in the mud, but I do have a big wad of cockleburrs in my long coat. Mama doesn’t like it. At. All. She says I’m the dirtiest Papillon in the world!

The corgi dog is MJ. Jake is the English Sheperd. And the mangy, traitorous (because he’d rather play outside with Jake and MJ than hang on the couch with me), one-eyed Papillon is Higgins.

Dirty happy dogs! Yep, that is the reason I have mud on my kitchen floor….

Papillions (sp) amaze me. They are big dogs in small bodies. The BO where I board had one who always followed along on trail rides (and always rode in front of someone on a saddle on the way back)! LOL!

    Oh, they're so cute…and muddy.
Love the look of the blog, BTW.

Your pap Higgins is like my yorkie Harley. Would rather be outside runnin' amuck than in the house. Harley can find a mud puddle in the middle of a drought. Your dogs are too cute! I think they wanted you to come out and play in the mud!

OH. MY. GOSH. so I guess a day of dog washing and brusing is on the list today?

I love the little Papillion! Are they good dogs???

One day my daughter left my dogs out and it started raining. My little Wyatt, who is more like a toddler than a dog, began digging, running and rolling in the mud. He is normally white and oh man he was black with mud. And stunk!

Good luck getting them clean! And have fun! 😉
