Today I weaned my beautiful filly, Ibaflitnbird, barn name- Dolce. She is the first filly (a female horse under age 2) I’ve raised, so I might be a tiny bit biased and overtly proud of her (click here to see her first video!). There are other horses pictured with her- all of them are the ranch’s horses, save for Sonora (Dolce’s mama) and my beloved Shuttle.
Here are photos of the horses she is currently housed with:
Here’s some video of her running around being silly:
Here’s video of Shuttle being Shuttle:
Here is me giving a guided tour- so you can see me next to this furry monster named Dolce- and meet the other horses, up close! It’s windy so some of the audio is hard to hear, and my digital camera makes a terrible sound when you zoom in/out. Also, I am very aware that I’m dressed tacky. I am not underneath- in fact, I was wearing a cute red fleece pullover, that matched my cap of course, and a cute heather gray henley underneath that, but I opted for an old coat this morning, because the snow is melting off, and it’s icky muddy out and I figured there was no point in getting a perfectly cute coat muddy!

I think you should name the little filly after the little engine that could….
