So It’s Spring You Say?

March 26, 2009 by Shauna 5 Comments

It’s officially Spring now. Yeah, so what? Don’t tell Old Man Winter. He’s having none of it. Today it is overcast, the wind is blowing to beat hell and it’s snowing. AGAIN. Not quite blizzard conditions, but not good either. I really wanted to ride Lucy today, but gave up being outside after I spent some time with Ve’s new horses, Bird and Pete, and could no longer feel my toes. I did however, for you, oh loyal reader, brave the elements to capture some fun photos. Yes, the one of our three calves is included!

This is the back of Banjo– one of our studs.
This is Ve’s new horse, Bocos Mr. Big or Uno as we call him. He is a half brother to Jill’s new horse, Little Man Answered. If you missed when that happened, check this out.

Max the pretty Palomino Gelding. Look how furry he is!
I don’t know why, but I love this photo!

Spread the Love!

Snow sitting on their hair means it’s COLD, it’d melt fast if it was warm. Sorry to hear spring has taken a detour, hang in there! By the way, my mom is Dusty Devoe, in case you didn’t know! 🙂

The link to Jill’s blog tells me it doesn’t exist.

I can’t wait to see a full picture of the palamino! I bet he is just beautiful.

i L.O.V.E the calves! You’ll have to post more pictures and also love on them lots for me. They are adorable! Speaking of sharing the love, kiss Higgy-Boo for me too. He’s so brave. I’m so very glad it wasn’t anything worse. You can’t loose your right hand man!
