So I have heard this song several times now, and while at first I wasn’t sure I liked it, the more I’ve listened, the more it means a lot to me, certainly at this point in my life. It occurred to me today that if there are men out there, like this artist, that write songs like this, then there are men who do cherish their wives/significant others, and understand healthy father/daughter relationships. Men who understand family dynamics, and who respect those dynamics. On so many levels this should NOT be a newsflash to me. Yet for some reason it seems a foreign concept.
