Texas Bound

October 31, 2008 by Shauna 2 Comments

I am bound for Texas as of tomorrow.

It’s been a crazy week around here.

Yesterday we helped sort calves so that the neighbor could ship today.
This morning I helped gather calves so they could be shipped. I skipped the second pasture to come home and pack.

So far everything is coming into place nicely.

I have been super productive this morning.

I’ve got the following done:

  • A place to keep my horses Saturday night.
  • An appointment for Higgins to see the groomer.
  • A check up appointment for Shuttle.
  • An appointment for Gump to get his teeth done and some blood drawn.
  • I have the barrel racing schedule fairly mapped out.
  • Some of my laundry done. Ok. So I actually didn’t do it. Zach did it for me!
  • A list made of things from the barn that need to come with me.

What I still need to do is:

  • Make dinner reservations for the girls and me on Saturday night. Fort Worth here we come!
  • Pack. Ha ha. Funny. That always sounds easy, but I’m going on an open-ended trip and I have no idea what I’ll do. Sounds like half the wardrobe should come to me!
  • Clean house- as friends of Zach are going to be here, Sunday, and this place is in need.
  • Make a couple more phone calls.

I think that sums it up.

I hope that sums it up.

I’m tired just thinking about it!
