We went to a barrel race this weekend; Zach, Kelsey (his daughter) and me. We met Jill and her husband there. That’s where I picked Shuttle up. Jill and her husband are here for the week to visit so if blogs are lacking we can blame them!
Here’s a photo of Kelsey, her horse Pommel, and me and my horse named Gump. Pommel is a 5yo Quarter Horse gelding, and Gump is a 13yo Quarter Horse Gelding. This weekend made Pommel’s first big barrel race and all things considered he did really well.
I also was fortunate enough to meet Curt Pate this weekend. He’s a well known equine clinician and he currently is on tour with the AQHA Regional Experience. He’s just moved into South Dakota, so I’ll be seeing him and his wife and his daughter a lot more, I figure.
So how’d you do, how’d gump do, how’d Jill do, how’d Kelsey and Pommel do . . . are you training Pommel for her, I know you just started Gump when you got up there right, Did Jill bring Versace, Is that what she rode, do you and Jill have a spa day planned . . .
Can you tell I am starved for information?
