Saturday I went to the Timber Lake High School Rodeo in Timber Lake, South Dakota. We’ve had a LOT of rain this week, and it made for a really fun (or not-so-fun) time! It is all in your perspective. Since the barrel racing was the next to last event, I figured why not take some photos and further hone my skills? And besides that, I love taking rodeo photos and trying to capture the movement of the moment.
Here’s a link to the gallery, but just in case you don’t want to go through 500+ photos, I’m going to show you my favorites!
One of my favorite shots- ever!
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
The picture with the guy that has his foot stuck in the stirrup and holding on to the still bucking horse… that is National Geographic quality image! All of the pictures are really good Jenn
They’re all awesome photos, but my favorite is the one of the pickup man taking the saddle off the bucking horse. Nice!
Nice, those are real good, I like the action and movement.
Great pictures. Excellent eye for composition.
Matt
that was a very muddy rodeo, but you got some great pictures! Good job!
Awesome photos, that mud makes me cringe. I can only imagine cleaning up tack & boots from that mess! I love your favorite photo ever as well!
