Last Sunday we were blessed to attend the High School graduation of Zach’s Daughter Kelsey. She is a beautiful young woman. And in keeping with my photographing journalism of our lives, I took more than enough pictures.
There were smiles as they walked to their seats:
There were hugs as parents and grandparents were given flowers.
There were diplomas given:
And more smiles!
Closing prayers to be said:
And star quilts were given:
There were beaded caps complete with eagle feathers paying homage to her Lakota roots:
And no party would be complete without cake!
Cousins and friends make celebrations better!
As well as Grannys and Aunts:
A proud dad and his daughter look at 12 years of hard work:
Let’s all make a toast to the class of 2011, and all of those kids who’ve worked so hard and accomplished so much! May all their dreams come true!
Happy Trails!
