Tonight we did Christmas with my family. My folks and my sister are going to Kansas to see family for Christmas. Someone has to stay and have horse duty, and obviously, since they’re my horses, they’re my duty!
The family came to our house, and we opened gifts. Long story short, I *thought* that I had a cowboy hat under the tree from my husband. Yesterday, while I was working on something at his desk, I found a tag for a cowboy hat. It upset me greatly. Anyway, tonight while we opened gifts he let me open it. It’s the wrong size, which he knew, but it’s chocolate brown with a pink ribbon around the brim. I think someone snapped a photo of me in it. I also got two new rodeo shirts and matching eyeshadow. One of those shirts is blingy! Yummy! I’m super pumped about it. It’s purple with metallic silver fringe on it; oh and let’s not forget the rhinestones. The other is very throwback, Roy Rogers, and is a camo green and maroon paisley. Mom and dad did great!
I cooked dinner, and we had mustard rubbed pork tenderloin with a mustard, mushroom and Marsala wine sauce, fingerling potatoes and asparagus. Needless to say, we are now all stuffed.
I found photos:
Oh, and I’m about to add a photo to the Christmas Tree post that I promised: a picture of the hat gracing the top of the tree.
