This morning, as I was going through my inbox, I got notified that there was a new post from Debbie at her blog, Life on a Kansas Cattle Ranch. And what I saw there made me instantly run to YouTube and grab this little snippet of video to share with you. I’m kind of excited and can’t wait to see the actual film.
Farmland is a documentary, about farmers and ranchers and focuses on 6 families. It’s from award winning director, James Moll

The film will be released in the Spring of 2014. To get more information, visit the website.
I don’t know about y’all but after seeing the trailers I’m pretty excited to watch the film and I am not a huge lover of documentaries!
Have you heard of this film prior to today? Is it something you’d like to watch? I’d sure love to hear your thoughts!
Happy Trails!
First time I have heard of the film. I am very interested in seeing it. How will we know when it is available? Thanks, Take care
My guess would be to check their website for information relating to theater releases, as well as when it will air on Showtime/HBO etc.
looks to be a good watch. hope they keep it real and dont add in any drama like most reality shows. long live the farmer!!!

Yes! I’ll go see it if it comes close around here.
A co-worker of mine and I are going to try to get our client team together to go see it at a theater nearby when it comes out. (I work at an ag-marketing agency, so we’ve got quite a few ag-nerds of all sorts – crops, dairy, beef, pork and poultry!) According to the website it should be playing by us starting May 1.
