I hope everyone is gearing up to have an awesome weekend.
Avie came up sore this week because his hoof cracked/broke at a place where he has a scar on his hoof. I’m off of him for at least two weeks. I was bummed because the last barrel race in the series that’s been the closest to me all summer was Wednesday and there was an extra $500 added and we had to stay home. *sad face*
At least next week, while my time off Avie ticks away, I’ll be gone Wednesday Through Sunday to Austin, Texas to teach a photography class at the AgChat Cultivate and Connect Conference. I’ll also get to hang out with my friend Devon, and my kid brother. Bonus: We’re seeing Hayes Carll at Gruene Hall. I’m so lucky!
I’ve been on my “new” replacement for Fridge a few times. Since he’s a paternal half-brother to Dino, you can only guess that I like him. Someday I’ll get some good photos of him. He’s pretty. And short. Which is a plus for little ol’ 5 foot me.
And now that the business/news from the week is out of the way, I’ll get to the reason that most of you come to this blog: The photos.
Happy Trails and Happy Weekend!
