It was even more beautiful Monday than it was Sunday! Whoo hoo!! I sported a long sleeved tee, with a short sleeved tee over that, and while I started out in down vest, but that was shed really early in the day- at about 10:30. Gump, Shuttle and Camo all came in for feed, and while they ate, I rode out in the big, green, beast- also known as a John Deere to feed hay. My contribution to that outing was that I opened gates.
When feeding hay was done, I let my wild beasts back out to pasture, and went to catch Lucy. Then we took some photos. When that was finished, I then saddled her and moved her out and am continuing to get her ready for me to ride. Zach rode a pretty, black, half fresian/half arab mare we have in to train right now, while I worked with Lucy. I actually half stepped up on her back yesterday. She’s ready. I’m not.
About 40 minutes later the shoer calls and says he’ll be out that afternoon to put new nikes on Shuttle. She hasn’t had shoes since last year before her injury but we’re about to spend a lot of time at a pen with loads of rocks in the parking lot, so I figured better to be safe than sorry for her feet that get easily sore.
Today it’s supposed to be rainy and not as warm. I’m not really excited about it, but at least if nothing else I have some great photos to post for you folks later in the day! Happy Tuesday!

PG- you can see a close up of the cute pony here
He belongs to Zach’s little boy, Ty. He was a gift from Ty’s Great Aunt. He is the cutest, sweetest, nicest pony ever. I mean really for a pony, he’s a gem!
