Here’s the 28th ride on Fridge. Well not all of it, because I ran out of space on my 32Gb iPhone (because I have a bunch of baby goat video and photos to share later this week), but you get the gist!
He’s still a bit sore; and we are struggling with our left lead – I think when his foot grows out all the way the left lead is going to happen.
I like taping myself because it allows me to see where I’m being sloppy. It’s totally time to get some mirrors up in that barn!
I’m hoping we get some sunshine this week. These cloudy days have kind of got me in the doldrums or something because it’s all I can do the past few to drag myself to the barn and I LOVE TO RIDE!
I know it’s officially spring, but does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?
Here are a couple things I noticed:
1. I’m not sitting over my right pocket enough when I ask his shoulders to come through to the left.
2. I’m also cranking his head out of balance to that side too. So more waiting, less, greed on my part.
3. I’m doing more than I should.
4. I’m not giving him enough time to soak, always I think.
It’s a journey, not a destination!
What's on your mind?
