Zach is….

So awesome!

I have a lot to report actually, but not enough time to do it at the moment. It’ll have to suffice to say that I love Zach!!! He is awesome and is the best cowboy EVAH!-at least in my book. Today he roped a two-day old calf from about 25 feet out, caught it on the first throw, and quietly moved it to a pen where it’s mama would be happier. You see, by roping the calf, mama really had no choice but to follow. He first tried moving *mama, and that just managed to get her on the hook- she charged him. Which led to him running through the slop (I’d call it mud but it’s thinner and wetter and just grosser in general than mud) to vault over the nearest fence. His pretty buckskin colored chinks were then covered in mud, as well as the rest of him, from that little episode. And I actually found that quite hot. I know. I’m crazy.

We called an impromptu jam session for tonight, so I’ve got to get my jewelry mess from last night cleaned up, and some laundry folded and put away. Oh, and we’re cooking supper for everyone too. I love it!

Happy Saturday!

*This particular cow is not ours. Ours typically do not behave in such a manner!

I can’t wait to hear more about the awesomeness that is Zach as well . . . and yes I’d love to see/hear some of the jam session.

I SO want to be a part of a family that has random jam sessions!
