We’ve had a pretty mild winter so far — there’s been a skiff of snow here and there. The last couple days- including now as I type this, we’ve got wind swirling and snow falling for the first time. But we’re halfway through February and almost out of Winter, so I won’t complain at all! We’ve had blue skies and hoar frost, two of my favorite things.
I always say that Winter is the time when the earth gets her beauty sleep so she can come back refreshed and ready to unveil her new, improved self come Spring. What do you think of Winter?
Happy Trails!

We got around 8 inches here south of Kadoka, the cows sure are happy to see the cake feeder coming!

We have had a few inches here and there this winter, but yesterday was the most we’ve had at one time! There’s a lot of snow out there. Still, less than last year!

I’m hoping the weekend over the first of March will bring some snow. Weather.com says 3-9 total inches possible Saturday night through Sunday night and we have our fingers crossed!
